The House of Representatives did not manage to deal with this new pension choice before the summer vacations. Pension funds have to properly inform their members about the new option 6 to 9 months before their pension starts. As a result, the January 1, 2024 date is no longer feasible. The new pension choice will now take effect on July 1, 2024. Or maybe even even later. <\/p>\n

With the lump sum<\/em> you can have part – maximum 10% – of your accrued pension capital paid out at once. You receive this money directly into your bank account, and you decide what to do with it.
