In the agreement between IBM Netherlands and the Works Council, it was agreed that the accrued DC capital will not be converted to the new plan. SPIN will continue to manage the accrued capital. You can continue to make your own choices such as adjusting your investment profile or making additional contributions.

In addition, IBM and the Works Council have agreed that over the next three years they will explore the possibility that you can also purchase a pension from SPIN with your DC capital. Now everyone who retires must purchase a pension with their DC capital from an insurer.

You will receive information from IBM about the changes for your pension accrual beginning Jan. 1, 2028. They will return with more detailed information in later communications.
