We’ve updated our Basic Pension Rules. Here are the most important changes:
- We have updated the description of who is a partner. Do you live together? Then you can now get a partner’s pension more easily;
- You may now retire up to 10 years before your official state pension age. So starting in 2024, you can retire from age 57;
- Young people as young as 18 can now also build up pension capital; previously this was from age 20;
- A small group of people who no longer accrue pensions are less at risk from changes in interest rates.
