If you are married, or entered into a registered partnership, a partner’s pension is automatically arranged for your partner in the event of your death. The municipality will then pass on your partner’s details to us. Are you or will you be getting married abroad? If so, please let us know. This is not automatically reported to us.
Do you live together and have a cohabitation contract? Then you register your partner with us yourself. On My SPIN you can see what information is known to us. There you can also register your partner and upload a copy of your cohabitation agreement. You can do this at Direct regelen.
Should you die, your partner is in principle assured of a partner’s pension. A condition is that you have concluded a cohabitation contract with each other and that this is known to us. You inform us of this yourself.
