Complaints

We make every effort to provide you with the best possible service. Nevertheless, it may happen that you do not agree with the course of events. For example, you may have a complaint about the way you were treated or about a decision concerning your pension. If so, we would like to hear from you. We want to learn from mistakes by listening and, where possible, working with you to improve our service. Below is how to file a complaint and what happens to it.

What

We would like to get a clear picture of your complaint. Please describe your complaint as clearly as possible and tell us exactly what it is about and why you are not satisfied.

Please also send us your name and (e-mail) address. That helps us to help you properly and quickly.

We will try to address your complaint to your satisfaction.

  • You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within two business days.
  • You will receive a substantive response from us within 10 business days.

If we need more than 10 business days, we will let you know.

Still dissatisfied?

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may submit your complaint, within 1 month of our response, to the Executive Board of SPIN:

Executive board decision

The executive board of SPIN will review your complaint and decide on its resolution.

You will receive a response within 5 weeks.

Dispute

If you are also not satisfied with the executive board’s response, you have several options.

  1. You can submit your complaint to the Pension Funds Disputes Authority. This can be done within a period of 1 year from the time your complaint has been partially or fully rejected or if you have not received a response within 10 weeks from the date of receipt.

2. You can go to the district judge during or after the above option.
