Who we are
Stichting Pensioenfonds IBM Nederland (SPIN, www.spin.nl ) is a medium-sized pension fund with the ambition to offer its participants a personal and relevant pension product. With our management office of over 20 people, our goal is to relieve the more than 2,000 employees of IBM and Kyndryl and 12,000 former employees of their DB and DC pensions. By providing good insight into what they can expect and by offering appropriate choices.
Since January 1, 2022, we have been providing our own pension administration, with the goal of a personalized service based on a new administration system and an effective mix of digital and face-to-face support. And that is why we are building the nicest pension team in the Netherlands!
What we expect from you
– From processing employer data to helping participants use the pension planner. From granting a retirement pension to handling a value transfer. You quickly pick up any work that comes your way. This means that you can act according to your own knowledge and insight, within the set frameworks. You always look for opportunities for improvement that you see in processes, procedures or regulations.
– You pick up various common pension work on a rotating basis. You do this in close cooperation with your pension colleagues and other specialists of the fund.
– Like your colleagues, you have personal contact with participants. This can be by phone, with emails or with video calls. It’s all possible.
– With your colleagues you discuss the priority of work each day. We do this in an informal setting in a pension team of 6 people.
– You make sure you are and stay up to date in your field. You are a solid specialist. and sometimes participate in projects. You contribute to the drafting of procedures and work instructions.
Who are you?
You are an inquisitive, positive-minded team player with several years of work experience, who quickly learns and applies new things. You enjoy being in contact with participants. You are critical of your own work, that of your colleagues and of processes. You go for quality and results. In other words, we can rely on you! You are at your best in a dynamic work environment and enjoy working with ambitious goals. You are customer-oriented, careful and solution-oriented.
Furthermore, you have…
– HBO working and thinking level.
– You have at least 3 years of experience in pension administration, including contacts with participants.
– Retirement knowledge.
– Eye for quality. You stand for the quality of your own work as well as the quality of the team’s output.
– Learning Ability. You dare to ask questions and pick up new things quickly, even when the going gets tough.
– Lots of empathy and adaptability. You enjoy supporting our participants and your own colleagues with creativity and boldness.
– Hands-on and strongly focused on collaboration.
– A pleasant, visible personality. You know how to inspire confidence and thus get what is needed done with and from others.
– Relevant retirement training(s) or willingness to pursue them.
And preferably also…
– Understanding administrative procedures and business processes in the pension execution chain.
– Experience with DC retirement.
– Experience working with AxyLife.
– Experience participating in projects.
– Good written and oral command of the English language.
