SPIN does not sail in. Am I at risk of paying additional taxes?

Sometimes you will read in the news that tax may be levied if a pension plan is not adapted in time to the new rules of the Future Pensions Act (Wtp). That's true, but only in a specific situation.

Extra strain only comes into play if the plan for active participants is not adjusted in time. This is not an issue at SPIN. The plan will comply with the Wtp by Jan. 1, 2028.

The fact that SPIN is not converting (not raking in) existing pensions makes no difference. For pensioners and sleepers, nothing changes. So you need not fear a tax assessment.

Good to know: before the start on January 1, 2028, we also submit the scheme to the Tax Administration. That way we can be sure that everything is correct.
